Should the history of Franklin Plaza not suffice, guests will surely be impressed with the elegance if it’s setting. The spacious Ballroom with its grand ceilings has been the site of many fairy-tail weddings. Cocktail hours and small dinner parties are beautifully set in the Crystal Room , and the boardroom lends itself to small boardroom dinners and business meetings. Regardless of the special event, the doorman - just one of the extra touches Cocca insists upon for his patrons warmly greets every guest of the Franklin Plaza.
They can also anticipate spectacular architecture, wonderful sit-down meals with plenty of food choices for any dietary need, stewarded wines, and painted-plate deserts. Michael's is perhaps one of the few caterers which also features 100 percent "homemade" butlered hors d'oeuvres. Refusing to use any box-type or frozen hors d'oeuvres, one staff member has sole responsibility for making up to 40 different kinds of hors d'oeuvres, producing between 3,000-5,000 a week.
"My argument for fund-raisers had always been to give the contributors what they pay for. You're better off charging a little more and providing a night they'll remember. Don't give them cheese and crackers; give them a gala!”,
